A fan from New Zealand :) HELP! :)

Hi all,

I'm from Auckland, New Zealand and am so glad I found this site! I'm on a real nostalgia trip at the moment trying to get all the tv shows from my youth.

All I could remember about t bag was that it had a character called tea bag and a character called t shirt, and there was reading of tea leaves. I googled these things but would often get links to 't shirts' (etc) but not the programme!

Now I've found my way

Obviously - I'm looking to obtain a complete (or near complete) version of the whole series on dvd (particularly the early T Bag with 'Tabitha' because I think that was the best...I remember me and my brother being real annoyed when they changed the t bag character)

I've already emailed someone on your forum, but thought I'd put it out there now - are there any New Zealand or Australian posters who still frequent this forum? I tried emailing one in NZ but it bounced back to me saying the address no longer exists (mortiis)

Alternatively, failing that, is there anyone in the UK who can help me obtain the dvd transfers.... (one more question....what is the quality like? Better than the video clips on the website? Hope so cos I can barely see them!

Any help would be appreciated. I'm in a real press for time as I'm making a dvd for my brother of all our childhood memories (he's coming back from overseas where he's been for the past 3 years this December 17th) - and obviously really, REALLY NEED to have T Bag!!! He'll freak out when he sees I've found some footage of it! We really loved this show as kids!

Welcome to the T. Bag Forum, it's good to have a nostalgia trip and I'm so glad you've found us. It's great reuniting T. Bag fans with the programme!

I've tried to make as many clips as possible (as different people will have different recollection of different series and episodes) but doing this I have to make the size of the videos quite small (and therefore the size of the picture small) as I only have so much space to host the files. It is very difficult 'capturing' the videos from my old video tapes as more often than not the video image and the sound goes out of sync so I'm really proud of the almost two hours worth of footage I've managed to do and I hope they've brought back some great memories for you and everyone else. More clips are in the pipeline!

The first T. Bag was Tallulah Bag (played by Elizabeth Estensen) and the second T. Bag was Tabatha Bag (played by Georgina Hale). Many people do prefer Tallulah Bag but I suppose it's because most the fans were brought up with her but I do think Georgina Hale did a wonderful job with the role of Tabatha Bag - she lasted almost as long as Tallulah Bag with four series and two Christmas specials.

There is a petition on the web to try to get the series released, this link will take you to the petition, please sign it (and you can get your brother to sign too) as we still need many more signatures:

Thanks for the welcome. I'm really glad I found this site! Paul (raggedbone) has just sent me two dvds of T Bag! Got them today. And I must say that it has been AWESOME reliving the childhood memories!

I'm eternally grateful to Paul and Jamie doing this forum!

Many, many thanks!!! If anyone from NZ frequents this forum, I'll be happy to trade discs with them if they want.

You guys are doing some great work here keeping nostalgia alive. Never underestimate how cool that is.
