Kellie to appear in Only Fools & Horses prequel

Kellie Bright has landed the role of Del and Rodney's Mum, Joan Trotter, in the prequel to Only Fools and Horses. The series is due to be aired by the BBC some time next year. See below for a scan from today's Daily Mirror newspaper, with an image of Kellie in character.



I'm sure Kellie will be great as Joan Trotter, always mentioned but never before seen, and I'll look forward to seeing her when it is aired next year. What does everybody think of the casting of Kellie as Joan Trotter?

The prequel special titled 'Rock & Chips' is airing tonight (24th January 2010) on BBC One at 9p.m to 10.30p.m.

Kellie plays the role of Joan Trotter, Del and Rodney's ill-fated mum.
