Hi everyone,
Today marks six years since The High-T Website launched on the World Wide Web, and what a superb six years it has been. With so many great things to mention such as interviews with cast and crew; discovering John Plant’s set designs; being part of the much loved Reunion documentary DVD (still available to buy here) and so much more but still no official release of the series (sometime soon please Fremantle, the 25th anniversary is just around the corner).
Speaking of the 25th anniversary which will be with us on the 4th April 2010 (as I type only 116 days – gulp), this post is going to grow as I let you know how the updates for the 25th anniversary are going and how you can get involved.
The website last had a redesign in 2008 during the 23rd anniversary updates and now it’s time for a fresh lick of paint (or html coding) as the website is being redesigned. I’ve been working on these updates prior to the 24th anniversary and the redesign will make the website look fresh and modern.
Unfortunately there has been little in the way of updates for the website since the 24th anniversary and this is likely to continue as preparations for the 25th anniversary celebrations have been underway for several months. I know it seems a long wait for the updates but they will be excellent (trust me). In the meantime please feel free to join in the fun of the forum (e.g. you can watch and review some of the episodes and read other people’s opinions and thoughts on the episode) and chat to fellow fans of the series.
To whet your appetite here’s a teaser; the starry black background is going (but not completely)! More teasers, progress updates and how you can get involved will be posted in the coming weeks and months.
After typing all that and all the updates completed so far I think I need a rest, I’ll pop the kettle on and have a strong cup of tea.
