I've had an e-mail from Lee Pressman who has been contacted by Revelation films who have said they are still very keen on producing a full T-Bag DVD boxset (all nine series and four Christmas specials). Financially this is not viable for them to do so in the current economy and the initial three series did not sell as well as they hoped and with High street stores such as HMV going into administration this has only made it more difficult for them. To ensure they are able to produce the DVD boxset Revelation Films have suggested a campaign via Kickstarter where we can pledge some money in order to make the DVD boxset possible. If this does go ahead the DVD boxset would come in a decorative 'Tea Caddy' packaging. This would be a limited edition and everyone who pledges would get their name mentioned on the box. If you've never heard of Kickstarter before it is a website where people pledge money to get a project started which could be a book, DVD, CD, film project, video game etc. More details can be found on their website: www.kickstarter.comTo release the boxset will require a lot of money so please post here if you'd be willing to pledge some money to make the DVD boxset a reality, a positive response means the campaign will be put into action and hopefully we'll be able to reach a target value of pledges to get the DVD boxset we all so desperately want.

I'd definitely be willing to pledge a bit of money to try and make this happen.

Is there a petition started with Kickstarter yet?

Is there a petition started with Kickstarter yet? There's not a Kickstarter petition set up, this is just to gauge the response. Once something is up and running I'll add a link here and on the website.

Hi,
Has anyone tried to start anything on facebook? Most fans probably don't check for updates on the T Bag DVDs every week, so it might take a while to accumulate enough pledges here!
There's currently 982 "likes" on facebook - if only 50% were to pledge to the DVD box set, it would reduce the individual pledge needed to around £74 (if the £36000 total figure quoted on the T-Room site is correct).
I realise that the £120 figure suggested on the T-Room isn't actually that unreasonable when you consider you'd be getting nine seasons; but I'd prefer to pay less if possible and I'm sure that if a campaign was started there'd be more people pledging if the amount was lower!

I Wonder if Revelation films would accept orders using a scheme some companies use called MOD (Manufacture on demand) Which would mean for a price they may sell a copy of the series to an individual minus artwork. May be worth a shot.

I would pledge a bit of money for Series 5 and 6 to put released on DVD!!!
