I have just read a press release on the network video website (www.networkdvd.co.uk), announcing that they now have access to the Thames TV archive thanks to an agreement with Fremantle. Perhaps they could be targeted regarding the DVD release? They have quite a good history, releasing some rare series with some pretty tip-top extras (Press Gang, Sykes, Ripping Yarns, etc). The statement gives a list of titles they are intending to release in the future and says they are going to "delve" deeper into the archive to get the most out of it. Worth a go, surely? RB

That certainly sounds promising. They've released a few childrens TV shows on DVD (e.g. Press Gang) from the same era as T-Bag so here's hoping.
Delving deeper into the archives sounds like great news, they must be able to easily find T-Bag there as it was such a big show back in the 80's and early 90's. Fingers crossed.

Well so far Network DVD have released the following Thames Children's series : Magpie, Potty Time, Robert's Robots, The Feathered Surpent, and other programmes such as Chocky, The Tomorrow People have been also released by other companies so it's about time that Fremantle decide that this year or even early 2010 is to be when T-Bag is finally released on DVD? Let's hope so!
