I've got my DVD today and I've had a little look at it. I'll watch it more thoroughly over the weekend.
I love the menu and the photo gallery. I thought the titles would be the 'Trouble with T-Bag' version due to copyright reasons.
The inside of the sleeve includes two images from the second series! It's wonderful just having the series on DVD after the years of waiting and campaigning.
I'm cancelling all other plans this weekend as I'm going to be transfixed to the TV! I feel 4 and a half again!

Omg Don't you hate it when you search for a particular title and similar titles come up on the screen and it confuses you? You think thats the title you're after and its not! lol So annoying!

I got mine today from HMV and it's brilliant -- at bloomin' last I should say!!
The quality of the episodes is superb and makes the old nth generation copies pale into insignificance. It's curious the lengths to which editors have gone to to remove any mention of 'Letterland' from the series in this 'Trouble with T.Bag'. New shots have been created (the board game falling off the table and the Debbie doll swirling down into the board game) to get rid of the word and anywhere it appears in long-shot, it's been blurred out. I believe Debbie's song from Episode 6 has also been edited (in the original she sings of the 'wonders, the wonders of letterland') although I haven't got that far yet.
My only minor niggles would be the back cover blurb which is a bit rubbish (where on earth did tthey get Debbie Carter from?!) and slightly shoddy mastering so the transition between episodes is a bit sloppy ...
But other than that, it's all good as far as I can see. The whole series, plus commentaries -- ruddy marvellous!! Fingers crossed for Series 2!! ;-)

Glad to hear you've got your DVD Raggedbone, hope you're enjoying it! Hope you've got your DVD now clemshirt. I've noticed on Amazon they now have the cover art for the second series: Revelation Films also have a new section on their website with an interview with Lee Pressman and Grant Cathro, take a read here, it's a great read. I've watched the first five episodes so far (and the first three with commentaries) and it's great to be able to watch it in such a great picture quality. I was surprised to see the flowers and plants near the hedges behind the chest in the opening episode - never realised they were there before! With regards to the changes I've noticed the voice-over introduction on the first episode where Debbie crosses the road has been removed, anybody else noticed any other differences? I've not noticed the DVD in my local HMV store, either it's sold out or they didn't get any copies in (I think it is the former rather than latter).

So cool it's finally out! I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon with free shipping so it's not here yet. Hopefully it will arrive later today It's such a shame to hear things have been edited/cut.....I think I'll be making a dvd copy of my VHS episodes so I have the uncut versions as well Hopefully this will be the only series edited due to copyright clashes. I'm not too upset as it must of been necessary to get a release at all! We kinda knew something was up when seeing they had changed the name of this series! As for the extras, again commentaries are probably the best bet for all the DVD's.... I mean we got the Fantom Films Interview DVD and the actors would just be repeating what they said on that, if they did featurette like interview extras for the dvd's. I'll post again when I've watched my copy with anything I want to add to this post

I'd buy one as well but Im thinking mainly of the regional code on the discs. Can't you get a DVD player that can be made multi region? I have a cheap Philips (£19.99 when I bought it about 5-6 years back) and that could be made multi region by pressing a few buttons on the remote. The model is Philips DVP 3020. It's invaluable to me as I play my region 1 He-Man, She-Ra and Bravestarr DVD's on it! This site might help you Tim Tam, www.videohelp.comWorth taking a look as there might be an hack on there for your dvd player.
