I was watching The classic series Open all Hours and one of the regular characters Mavis who can't make her mind up what she wants every time she visits Arkwrights shop is the same actress who played Wilma Wishbone (played the brilliant Maggie Ollershaw) in T-Bag Bounces Back. She turns T-Bag into a old witches broomstick but the only way she has her magic is with her candle, Book and one of the Bells which Debbie is collecting in this story. After turning T-Bag back to her normal self, T-Bag snatches the bell from Wilma and then zaps her away...

I had mostly forgotten the episode with Wilma Wishbone (I had remembered the bell being used for magic by a witch) until I had my copy of Bounces Back copied from my Betamax tape over to VHS. It was a joy to watch this episode again after so many years. Maggie Ollerenshaw (not a very easy name to type) has been in many programmes over the years (links below to find out more) and it was a joy to watch her in T-Bag as Wilma Wishbone - 'By my candle, book and bell, I shall cast my wicked spell' (quote from top of my head and probably not 100% accurate) - absolutely fantastic. It's a shame she wasn't recast for any of the later series of T-Bag like so many others were. Maggie Ollerenshaw (Internet Movie DataBase)Maggie Ollerenshaw (TV.com)
